Amitabh Bachchan seen here speaking at the United Nations Asia-Pacific headquarters in Bangkok, looks dapper in a double-breasted gray, pinstripe suit. He adds the dose of panache with a textured tie in just the right pink and carries off the sunglasses look indoors. Not many 60+ year old men can pull this off; heck not many men can pull this off period! Mr. Bachchan is in a class of his own and for that we salute you. Zee Cine Awards 2008 – Sophie Chaudhary April 27, 2008

Kudos to Sophie for wearing a saree to the Zee Cine Awards 2008; this was the first saree we’d seen at the event. Although in a cornea searing color, it was nice to see her representing the Indian aspect to an Indian awards show (go figure!).

Zee Cine Awards 2008 – Lara Dutta April 27, 2008

Lara always looks charming no matter what she wears and this certainly is the case. While the lower half of her gown is a wonderful color, the upper half falls flat not just for the stark blue combination but also the unsightly embroidery. If the gown was one rich, caramel color, it would have looked stunning.
