As if we needed another excuse for a fashion show, the HDIL India Couture Week 2008 kicked off yesterday, organized by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDIC). HDIL India Couture Week hopes to provide a platform for Indian couture in the same way that the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week has been a powerful stage for Indian prêt-a-porter.
