Sarees and bikini blouses are never a great combo, in my humble opinion. What is supposed to be a traditional getup that lends a woman an air of mystery is somehow ‘tartified’ with an itsy-bitsy bikini top. So two of our starlets chose to do this very same thing at the Filmfare Awards recently. Who wore it worse – Bipasha or Mugdha?

Bleh. In both cases, the sari itself is totally fine. It is ruined by the ridiculous excuses for “blouses.” Particularly in Bipasha’s case – I really love her Sabyasachi sari but I hate hate hate that bikini top.

Even when Bips wears ‘bad’ ethnic wear she still looks classier than in her Western choices – which (in my humble opinion) tend to be atrocious.

Why exactly cant they where bikini blouses, cause the men, being Indian men (famous, if nothing else for inventing the term ‘eve teasing’) will not be able tyo control their horomones at the slightest hint of skin? Okay, I agree that the clothes are hideous, but what’s even more hideous is the way you call them ‘tartified’ . They’re woman not objects. WHY cant you understand that? Stop picking on a woman just because she’s more cutlturally/ sexually liberated than you are!!
