First you had the long gowns and now the shorter gowns worn by Bollywood’s starlets at IIFA 2009. I would have chosen Amrita, Dia and Genelia as favorites except for their choice of accessories, namely the clutch for Amrita and the shoes for Dia and Genelia, all of which are competing with the dresses. A normally chic Lara sorely disappoints in her too-short black sequined number which she then pairs with grannyhose. Bipasha also doesn’t do herself any favors with the lace confection. So this round goes to Sophie simply because there is no one else left standing.
Also, thanks for the tips! Now on to some BFP – we have some juicy stuff from the IIFA Awards 2009. Let’s kick if off with Abhiwarya looking dapper on the ‘green’ carpet in a saree and nice suit. Can’t say the same for their attire at the Fashion Extravaganza.
