Congratulations! November 23, 2009

 

Congratulations are in order for the happy couple Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty on their recent wedding. As expected in Indian tradition, Shilpa was decked out in enough jewelry to stock a jewelry store. She mixed up her traditional south indian jewelry with some north indian kundan pieces, which I thought was a nice touch.  However, given her style quotient, I thought that she would keep the jewelry minimal but I guess one’s wedding is one occassion to go full out. On an aside, I broke with tradition and went for one large necklace for my own wedding. Yes, my Mom was none too thrilled but she got over it Tell me, how did you dress for your wedding?
