If it weren’t sarees, then it was gowns at the Filmfare awards.  Who looked the best and worst?  Personally, while I love Chitrangada, I thought her gown looked like discarded wrapping paper, and even though Asin’s gown is a Stella McCartney, it is still awful.  My votes go to Sophie and Bipasha.

Who is this lady and what has she done with Priyanka?  Not that I’m complaining because this Priyanka in front of us is a much more sophisticated and elegant one.  Let’s keep this body double!

Good taste’s got nothing to do with this outfit.  Sonam must have thrown that out the window, along with a full-length mirror.

Although the original Ferragamo sits higher on the model and more blouson-style on Priyanka, I have to say she pulls of the look.  Looking good; thank goodness we haven’t seen a mini in sight!  (And this positive post on Priyanka was more for my hubby’s benefit since he thinks I unduly don’t give her credit.  So here you go husband, don’t say I don’t do anything for you!)

For a change, I actually like this Manish Malhotra saree but the illusion of not wearing a blouse is where the love stops.  Yes, Karishma is wearing a bandeau style blouse but to me, it’s just a bit too untraditional.  What’s your take on it?

I’m attracted to anything shiny but that doesn’t mean I’ll gravitate towards an obscenely ugly shiny pair of shorts a la Amisha. On the other hand, I could veer towards Mallika’s sheath dress.
