Hi Readers, something quirky happening with the blog; it was holding all comments in the queue. I personally prefer for people to self-moderate rather than me having to ‘approve’ or ‘disapprove’ each comment, so I have always chosen not to turn on the ‘Moderation’ feature of the blog. I think I fixed the issue so hopefully your comments should appear on the posts. If it doesn’t, please shoot me a quick email. Thanks for your help!

One Year and One Thousandth Post October 10, 2008

It’s been a little over a year since I started this blog. At the time, there weren’t many other blogs/websites out there that commented/critiqued on the fashions worn by our Bollywood celebs. This was one of the first blogs and I created it to provide me a place to jot down my thoughts on fashion and how celebs could improve their dress sense. Along the way, I figured a few people may actually read it; well, ‘few’ meaning my family and friends *smile*. Now it’s been more than a year, I’ve written more than one thousand entries and the blog actually has a few readers, other than my family and friends, who actively contribute, comment and make it better all the time. How great it is for us all to have spent this year together; hopefully we’ll keep this blog going for another year! Thanks my fellow readers/conspirators in fashion!

How can you tell when there ain’t any material out there for me to post? How can you tell when I’m bored??? When I change the look of my blog every few days! :) No seriously, I read the comments, I read your reviews, and I read your minds (ok maybe not), and changed the look and feel of the blog to be a bit more reader-friendly. After all, this blog is for you readers, so please continue to keep those comments, criticism, complaints and compliments coming. (I do prefer compliments and roses and thaliyas (claps) but I won’t delete any compliants either, unlike other blogs). Thanks so much all and please spread the word!
P.S. – I hope all the readers in Bangalore and Ahmedabhad are safe, despite the despicable attempt of a few fundamentalists to explode bombs in these areas. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all. Copyright: Bollywood Fashion Police

The lady’s name slips my mind, but heck, what’s in a name anyways! What matters is this exquisite white dress she’s wearing, gorgeous clutch and smashing accessories. Except for the Swedish clog-like shoes, I am loving everything else about this mystery woman’s ensemble.

Yet Another Faux Pas July 8, 2008

Is there such a thing as an elegant bag lady? No, that would be an oxymoron or in Simone’s case, just a moron! As if satin jumpsuits weren’t enough, this time she wears a garbage bag edged with large, fake plastic stones. Oh yeah, plastic stones should really make this Hefty bag shine! What’s worse is that she tied two cinder blocks to her feet and painted them to resemble shoes.

Stay away from Satin! July 5, 2008

Dear Simone,
Someone must have surely told you, with good intentions, that you would look lovely in this 70s era satin jumpsuit and Wonder Woman belt. Alas, that person(s) may have been ill advised or your worst enemy. How do we put this delicately? Heck, there is no way to put this other than to say that the red satin makes you look like a bloated hippo. All hips and nothing else. You may have a lovely figure under this obliterating number, but please, stay away from the satin, especially red satin that screams hefty thighs and cameltoe.
In your best interests,
