Top Five Best Dressed Stars of Bollywood

by Nisha Acharya

Style and fashion are two attributes that define Bollywood to some extent. The glitz, glamour, bling and others depend on how stars carry themselves. Once their style strikes a chord with the audience, it goes viral with every person aping it. For that to happen, our actors and actresses spend a lot of time in front of the mirror. But not everyone manage to inspire the crowd and those who do, become style icons forever. Here is a list of the five best dressed Bollywood stars who cast a spell on everyone with their impeccable charisma.

Sonam Kapoor

It will be a sin to start the list without Sonam Kapoor. Fashion is one thing this actress gets right every time. She may have a severe case of foot in mouth syndrome, but her style and aura are unmistakably spot on every time she steps out in the open. Dior, Gucci, Chanel and also a few Indian brands look stunning on her. She flirts with every fabric. Even bizarre fashion looks good on her while every colour just accentuates her slender self. Till date no Bollywood actress has managed to get thumbs up every time other than Sonam.

Ranbir Kapoor

He has often been called the heartthrob of the nation. He makes girls swoon all over him. This has as much to do with his style as his acting prowess. This man knows what drives women crazy and makes sure he flaunts dresses that augment his masculine yet boyish charm. He makes a fashion statement even in a towel. Be it a tux, casuals or desi avatar, he makes people say nothing but WOW! Can you blame the girls for drooling over him unabashedly?

Saif Ali Khan

It’s not for nothing that he is called the Nawab of Bollywood. Anything that Saif sports is nothing less than royal. From his shabby looks in his initial years to his metro sexual being today, Saif’s fashion sense has evolved manifold. He is the only man who can easily pull off a pink vest and not look out of place. Even traditional wear rests prettily on him. No wonder Kareena Kapoor didn’t look beyond him once she tucked him safely in her kitty, you don’t let go off a royalty that looks like Saif? Do you?

Kangana Ranaut

She isn’t the actress whose style statement gets written much. But whatever it is, her fashion sense didn’t miss our eyes. She keeps it subtle simple and absolutely effective. Kangana is more known for her experimentation fashion. She likes to be bold and beautiful. Every time she steps out in public you will see a new her. She pulls off retro dress or a Zeenat Aman inspired number as easily as she does an off shoulder gown. Be it casuals or frilly dresses, Kangana believes in being different from the herd.

Hrithik Roshan

The tag of Greek God for him seems too underrated as Hrithik Roshan is more than just fashion phenomena. He is fashion himself! There is no outfit in the world that can make him look ugly. His posture, looks and that killer smile just impart whatever sensuality is missing from the clothes he has donned. From leather pants in Ek Pal Ka Jeena to royal look in Jodhaa Akbar to dashing avatar in Dhoom 2 to metro-sexual guy in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, fashion got defined by him. Need we say anything more?

  1. You’ve chosen real well! I definitely love how Sonam Kapoor wears her clothes. I agree that these Bollywood actors were in the top five. I am personally a fan of Hrithik Roshan and it’s true that he carriers his clothing very well. I find him sexy especially when he is wearing sleeved shirts.
