  2. Enne, is it a coincidence that they post the identical entries that I’ve already posted/commented on, after I’ve done so? Copying or simply imitating? I guess I should be flattered after all, this was one of THE first blogs to start on the web; HHC came afterwards. In any case, everyone is entitled to their opinions and the web is a medium to express it, so kudos to them.

  4. Hi Angkana,
Thanks for visiting and glad you enjoy the blog 🙂 My picks would be:
    1. JJ Valaya (traditional and can always be counted on)

    2. That’s a tough one; I don’t have any favorites but I would say Narendra Kumar does some interesting designs.

    3. Western I would have to choose two. Since I’m mostly in work wear, I’d go for L’Wren Scott and her structured dresses. For play, I love Zac Posen who manages to make quirky outfits but that are still classic.

  5. I just would like to say that you really need to lay off Priyanka Chopra, she’s a petite woman who looks great in whatever she wears so just stop hating on her. Priyanka is absolutely gorgeous and her hair is beautiful so please if your going to write comments about people make sure they fit because everything you say about her is just nonsense.

  13. Darling, can I just draw your attention to the ‘New York’ press meet? Despite being on crutches with a broken ankle, gor-JUS John looked effortlessly stylish – like he’d just stepped out of his Garnier ad and Katrina was sporting a lovely shocking pink dress. Vxx

  14. Darling, can I draw your attention to the iView Film Festival. John was looking fab in blue/grey (even though the event was ‘creative black tie’)

  15. Darling can I draw your attention to the contrasting outfits Bipasha wore recently? On the Farah Khan show she was in a ghastly pink western mini dress and then at the music launch for All The Best she was in soft pink ethnic wear – quite a stunning contrast I thought. I’d be interested in your take on both outfits. xx

  16. Darling, this is a poignant one. Did you see Lisa Ray at the Toronto Film Festival? Recently diagnosed with cancer, yet still managing to look lovely in a softly draped purple dress.

  17. Hi,

Came upon your site quite by chance. A regular visitor to your site, I truly enjoy reading your witty and honest comments.I honestly think 99% of the bollywood celebrities today are lacking in classy/sophisticated styling.

    Cheers 🙂

  21. Darling, can I draw your attention to John and Bips at the Bombay Times 15th anniversary party? Her outfit was a scarlet all-in-one (not sure what the correct fashion term is, we called them ‘jumpsuits’ in MY day – LOL!) pant suit. She looked VERY classy and elegant for a change.

You might also want to check out Priyanka’s tragic gold mini dress at the same event – YIKES!!

  26. I love your blog, and I always read about it.. although I pretty much know what I suit or dont suit.. what are your major fashion No’s and Yes’s in terms on fashion for girls in their 20’s? in short, who’s celeb to get inspired of and who not to get inspired of (despite their popularity).
thanks alot for giving a great blog for us to read when winding down.. just love love this blog… take care, love Sakina*

  27. Hi Sakina, thanks for reading the blog! In terms of fashion for women in their 20s, anything goes! That’s the fun of being young and not taking fashion too seriously. Take advantage of this time and experiment with all fashion choices, even take risks although it may not always pan out. But I also think it should be done tastefully. As far as celebrities to inspire by, I love Camille Belle’s style, she’s young but doesn’t come off looking trashy or like she’s trying too hard. Someone not to emulate, the Olsen twins! Come on! I know they have fashion lines and are supposedly such hipsters but half the time, they look like bag ladies to me. As for Bollywood celebrities, I’m sorry but no one comes to mind 😦 I think Sonam is overrated in terms of her fashion; it looks like something a stylist pulled out and that she’s attempting to pull of. So Camille Belle, oh and Rachel Bilson is also cute and looks effortless. I hope that helped!

I, too, am a fashion blogger. stylefantasy,wordpress.com is my blog. I recently did a post on ethnic/contemporary fusion wear. Aside from a fashion, I am a big bollywood junkie, and this blog combines both my likes perfectly. I would really appreciate it if you could give me any insight and feedback 🙂
